Sarang's Spiffy Backgrounds

Here are some of my favorite backgrounds, many of which I drew myself. Netscape users can click on the links to see the image as a background. Smaller images are also inlined on this page as a preview.

smiley.gif: The first background I ever used, Fall 1992, on an X Windows system.
littlesm.gif: The first, unused, draft of smiley.gif
frowny.gif: I never actually used this background, but it makes a good complement to smiley.gif.
carrot.gif: My first self-drawn color background, early 1993, on color X Windows system and later on MS Windows, this is my drawing of my giant stuffed-carrot toy.
girlie.gif: A first attempt to feminize smiley.gif, I only rarely used this background.
celia.gif: A further attempt to feminize smiley.gif, even more rarely used.
shock.gif: A good background for someone who's stressed out from working too hard. Needless to say, I never used it.
littlesh.gif: For when you have only a little stress.
icons.gif: Using this background and disabling auto-arrange in MS Windows, I successfully drove myself insane. (too big to inline)
perky.jpg: He's not just my dog... for the better part of 1994, he was also my MS Windows background at home and at work. (you can also visit Perky's Home Page to see just a regular inline image)
stars.gif: My current (mid-late 1995) Windows background; a fairly accurate white-on-black map of the stars, generated with help of Mathematica. (too big to inline)
sky.gif: A first attempt at stars.gif (only random and in color), I envision this as stars in an alien sky... it looks more like salt on an alien table. (too big to inline)
temo.gif: Don't bother.
